Cadent iTero™ Impressionless Technology

The Cadent iTero™ technology eliminates the need for messy and
outdated tray and putty method of impression taking. The technology
allows a dentist to create a digitally recorded impression which
greatly reduces error due to pulls, tears, and voids from conventional
impression taking. The technology would not require the patient to be
subjugated to long waits or uncomfortable impression taking. In fact,
in many cases, chair time could be cut by half, all thanks to the iTero
impressionless technology.

patient comfort above all else. The technology uses parallel confocal
scanning which incorporates both laser and optical imaging tocapture
the targeted tooth and gum structure. The Cadent iTero™ uses 100,000
points of laser lighting at 300 focal depths of the tooth structure, allowing
for focal depthimages that are spaced only 50 microns apart. The result
is incredible accuracy with a spectacular reported rate of 99% of
accurate impressions taken the first time.
