The IScan D104 is a high-performance scanner for laboratories which scan and design all indications. The scanner has a fully automated calibration assuring high accuracy. The standard indications include anatomic crowns and copings, offset copings, bridge frameworks, inlays, onlays, veneers, waxup digital copy milling, waxup-based frameworks, and primary telescopes. The scanner can furthermore be used to produce removables, splints, drill guides with optional CAD software packages. The Advanced Modules Option extends the scan and design capabilities to include custom abutments, implant structures, bars, and a virtual articulator. The D104 does not offer the same accuracy level as the D104i and thus implant positions must be up-dated with a D104i in order to obtain a passive fit for large direct screw retained structures.
